LITTLE FIRES EVERYWHERE by Celeste Ng

I love the themes of this novel as well as the literary style. A weave of stories knotting and slipping around each character, creating themes such as economic class disparity, motherhood, freedom, and truth vs. lies.

The fire and burning metaphors, the all-omniscient narrator that reveals past and future realities for the reader, and the complicated questions, kindnesses, and cruelties of normal people are intricately intertwined throughout this novel. Thank you, Celeste Ng, for writing fiction that makes me want to live.
